This original watercolor has been created for and donated to Explorers Against Extinction for the ‘Sketch for Survival’ exhibition. This painting along with artwork from leading wildlife artists around the world, as well as pictures from celebrity sketchers will be on display to the public in London and will be a part of the exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society on the 12th of October, 2017. The purpose of the exhibition is to raise vital awareness about the threat of extinction to iconic species such as elephant, lion and rhino, as well as raise funds and donate resources to nominated wildlife charities and organizations.

Bayou City Art Festival Downtown

The Artwork of Sarah Janece Garcia will return to Houston, TX in the fall of 2017.

Sarah was invited to participate in the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown on October 14-15, 2017. Brand new originals as well as artist proof and limited edition prints will be available at this festival which will take place in Downtown Houston surrounding City Hall, Hermann Square, Houston Public Library, Sam Houston Park, and adjacent streets.

“The Downtown festival is one of the top 10 outdoor fine arts festivals in the nation. The two-day festival showcases the works of over 300 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the world. Sarah Janece Garcia's Artwork in London

Sarah Janece Garcia's art is traveling to London soon to be a part of the Sketch For Survival Exhibit. Sarah's work along with artwork from leading wildlife artists around the world, as well as pictures from celebrity sketchers will be on display to the public in London, UK and be a part of the Explorers Against Extinction event at the Royal Geographical Society on the 12th of October 2017.

Sarah Janece Garcia's Artwork in South Africa

Sarah Janece Garcia's prints of "The Dreamer" & "The Wind is Calling" have traveled and now arrived in South Africa. Sarah's artwork, along with the work of Anne London, will be a part of an incredible event held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

On July 13th, 2017 a Christmas In July fundraiser and art auction will take place at Tintswalo Lodge at Waterfall. The proceeds will benefit the South African Wildlife College and Anti Rhino Poaching campaigns.

Endangered Species Collection

Sarah Janece Garcia's brand new collection is titled, “The Endangered Species Collection” and it is meant to capture the beautiful and majestic faces of endangered and threatened species from around the world. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of any original in the "Endangered Species Collection" will go to a preselected charity to aid in the work being done to conserve the animal that is in the painting.

Artist Collective: Future Interrupted

Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Exhibition

Sarah Janece Garcia's painting titled, "The Jay" was selected to exhibit at the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Semifinals in Austin, Texas. The Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series is a national search for this year's next big name in visual arts and is created in partnership with hip-hop mogul Russel Simmons and Danny Simmons's Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.

The Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Regional Exhibition will take place at ART on 5th, Austin’s largest contemporary gallery, from September 27th till October 15th.

This exhibition features 23 local artists (within 150 miles of Austin), who have each been selected to compete for a chance to show their work at Art Basel in Miami this December. One winner will be announced at the reception Saturday, October 8th.
